PurvX Purchase Protection

At PurvX, we value the trust you place in us when making a purchase. Our Purchase Protection Policy safeguards buyers from item misrepresentations and other order issues, offering a clear process if things don’t go as expected.

PurvX Purchase Protection

PurvX Purchase Protection helps ensure buyers receive items as described while maintaining a fair process for sellers.

When you purchase an item on PurvX, your payment is protected until the transaction is confirmed complete. Sellers receive their payout 14 days from the date of shipment (not delivery), allowing time for any eligible disputes to be reviewed.

Reporting an Issue

If there is a problem with your order, you must report the issue within 3 days of delivery by contacting PurvX Support at hello@purvx.com.

Buyers should reasonably inspect the item upon delivery and make a reasonable effort to confirm the issue before submitting a claim. This includes checking for temporary obstructions or minor functional adjustments (such as fabric caught in a zipper, hook, or clasp).

When reporting a problem, buyers must provide supporting documentation such as:

  • Clear photos showing the issue
  • Video demonstrating the defect (if applicable)
  • Any additional information requested by PurvX to review the claim

If requested documentation is not provided within the timeframe specified by PurvX, the dispute may be closed and the transaction considered complete.

Issues Covered by Purchase Protection

Purchase Protection may apply if:

  • Undisclosed Damage – The item has damage that was not mentioned in the listing.
  • Incorrect or Missing Item – The item received does not match the listing or essential components are missing.
  • Item Not as Described – The item materially differs from the seller’s description.
  • Counterfeit or Inauthentic Item – The item is not genuine.

Issues Not Covered

Purchase Protection does not apply to:

  • Items that do not fit or where the buyer has changed their mind
  • Style or personal preference concerns
  • Normal wear consistent with the condition described in the listing

Dispute Review Process

  1. Issue Reported
The buyer reports a verified issue within 3 days of delivery and provides supporting documentation.

  2. Claim Review
PurvX reviews the information provided by both the buyer and the seller. Additional documentation may be requested from either party.

  3. Return Authorization
If the claim qualifies under Purchase Protection, PurvX may authorize a return and provide return instructions.

  4. Return Shipment
Buyers must ship the item using a tracked shipping method and provide the tracking number and proof of shipment within the timeframe specified.

  5. Condition Verification
Once the item is delivered back to the seller, the seller will be asked to confirm receipt and verify the condition of the returned item. Sellers are typically given up to 48 hours to respond.

If the seller does not respond within this timeframe, PurvX may proceed with the resolution based on available delivery confirmation and evidence.

  6. Refund Issued
If the return is verified, PurvX will process a refund to the buyer’s original payment method.

Return Requirements

If a return is authorized:

  • The item must be returned in its original condition, unworn, unaltered, and with all original components included.
  • The item must be shipped using a tracked shipping method.
  • Buyers must provide the tracking number and proof of shipment.
  • Failure to ship the item within the specified timeframe may result in the return authorization being canceled.

Return Shipping

In certain cases, PurvX may reimburse reasonable return shipping costs if a dispute is approved. Buyers may be required to provide a shipping receipt as proof of cost.

If the returned item is found to be functioning as originally described or the reported issue cannot be verified, PurvX reserves the right to decline reimbursement of return shipping costs.

Misuse of Purchase Protection

PurvX reserves the right to take action if the dispute process is misused. This may include situations where:

  • Claims are inconsistent with the condition of the returned item
  • False or misleading information is provided
  • The dispute process is repeatedly used without valid cause

Actions may include limiting account activity, restricting dispute access, or suspending accounts.

Transactions Outside PurvX

PurvX Purchase Protection applies only to transactions completed entirely through the PurvX platform. Trades or transactions conducted outside PurvX, such as private exchanges or direct payments, are not protected.

Final Determination

PurvX reserves the right to make the final determination in all disputes based on the available evidence and the circumstances of each transaction.
